The brick paved drive and walkway, perfectly cordinated with the spanish tile roof color, lead to the entrance of the villa. The trim around the windows and doors is a nice offset to the designers palet choice of bright white painted stucco; resulting in a clean refreshing ambience. In addition to it's aestetic value, white was the best choice to further enhance energy efficency - refelcting light - most importantly infrared light. The solid mahogany double entrance doors have a six point locking mechanism imported from Germany. It gives the best possible protection coupled with a modest statement of opulence. One final vital detail of this house (as stands in a hurricane prone state) the developer took great care to enable a family to be safe and comfortable; even through a hurricane. From installing the impact resistant vinyl windows - which need no boarding up - meeting and exceeding the Florida building code, to insisting on living quality by including a 15kW automatic generator backup running on natural gas which powers the main functions of the house including heating and cooling - NO POWER OUTAGES!
